Sharing my photography has always been part of the thrill…watching someone’s unique reaction of surprise, amazement, and wonder…it’s part of the “conversation” an artist has with her audience.

Every now and then, that results in recognition that extends beyond the individual, when a group of people all agree that an image matters to them, even when their own perceptions and impressions can be vastly different.

I’m honored that Purple Majesty received second overall in the Nature Division of a Regional photo competition. Five other of my images were also awarded honors in the same competition.
